Welcome to the Office of the Dean of Students’ Affairs
Professor Bamidele Danquah Zira is the Dean of Students’ Affairs at the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi (FUAMB), Adamawa State, Nigeria. As an accomplished academic and Professor of Forest Economics and Policy in the Department of Forest Resources and Wildlife Management, he brings extensive experience in university administration, student development, and higher education leadership.
The Office of the Dean of Students’ Affairs is committed to promoting the welfare, personal development, and overall well-being of students while fostering a safe, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating campus environment. Under Professor Zira’s leadership, the Directorate works closely with students, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that every student has the opportunity to excel academically, socially, and morally.

Our Core Responsibilities.
The Office of the Dean of Students’ Affairs is responsible for:
✓ Promoting the welfare and wellbeing of all students.
✓ Coordinating student orientation and transition programmes.
✓ Overseeing student discipline in accordance with University regulations.
✓ Supervising student accommodation and hostel administration.
✓ Supporting student associations, clubs, and leadership development initiatives.
✓ Coordinating student counselling, guidance, and welfare services.
✓ Organizing extracurricular, cultural, sporting, and recreational activities.
✓ Promoting student engagement, inclusion, and community service.
✓ Serving as the primary liaison between students and the University Administration on matters affecting student life.
